Our Story

SSB Elite was founded in 2024 by Louis Sayers, a former professional basketball player with over a decade of experience competing at a high level. Having experienced firsthand the impact basketball can provide for young people, Louis set out to, not simply start a club, but rather to create a culture and an environment the sport deserves.

Built on a passion for player development and a commitment to excellence, SSB Elite was established with a clear mission: to provide young players with the coaching, support, and competitive opportunities needed to reach their full potential. From day one, the focus has been about more than just winning games – it has been about development and it’s been about joy.

What began in 2024 with a single team has quickly evolved into a thriving basketball programme, now supporting six teams across multiple age groups. This rapid growth reflects the dedication of our coaches and staff, the commitment of our players, and the trust placed in us by the families we get to work with.
